Obituary of Joseph Carr

Joseph “Joe” Charles Carr, 76, of North Port, FL and formerly of Wilbraham, MA, passed away on April 1, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born on July 23, 1945 in Boston, MA. Joe had many occupations, including teacher and school principal (the youngest in the state at the time) - however the most significant was that of Investment Advisor from 1989 until 2015.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Carr of North Port, FL; two sons, Brian Carr of Los Angeles, CA and Jason Carr of Holly Springs, NC; daughter, Erin Carr of Sarasota, FL; three granddaughters, Camdyn, Kiley, and Reegan Carr of Holly Springs, NC; brother, Paul Carr of Cape Cod, MA; sister, Denise Carr of Upton, MA; and six nieces and nephews.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Eloise Carr, and his brother, Ned Carr.

As a father, a husband or a friend, he leaves us all warmly overwhelmed with a loving legacy of inspiration, loyalty and laughter.
