Obituary of Janet Elizabeth Watson

Janet Elizabeth Watson, 90, passed away in Venice, FL on December 6, 2022. She was born on November 9, 1932, in Pittsfield, MA to Harry and Elizabeth (Beauchaine) Collins. Janet graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1951. She married Willian “Bill” Watson on November 5, 1955. Her and Bill relocated to Englewood, FL in 1992.

Janet enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She would often knit hats and sweaters for newborn babies. She was a devout catholic and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes.

She is predeceased by her husband Bill Watson, her parents Harry and Elizabeth Collins, son-in-law Richard Wool, and mother-in-law Helen Watson.

Janet is survived by her children William (Annmarie) Watson, Patricia Wool, John (Ruby) Watson, and Sallyann (Robert) Lawrence, grandchildren Timothy, Thomas, John, Julie, and Morgan, great grandchild Elliot Watson, and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at a later date in Pittsfield, MA.
