Obituary of Robert A. Lindenmuth

Robert A. “Lindy” Lindenmuth, 79, of North Port, FL passed away on February 13, 2023. He was born on April 11, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. Robert served in the US Army for 4 years from 1963-1966.  He retired as a USS 251/RS and then retired as a maintenance supervisor from Sheraton in Bucks City, PA after nine and a half years. Robert was a Life Member for 35 years at Levittown Fire Co #1 and served as a firefighter and fire police in Levittown, PA; member of the Bucks City, PA Fire Police Association; and PA State Fire Police Association; and Scoutmaster Troup 53 in Levittown, PA. 

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Pharo); one son, David (Karman) of San Francisco, CA; two daughters, Tammy Jean Gilleo of W. Hazelton, PA and Cyndi Ellen Hall of Kelayers, PA; step son, Corrie Stankiewicz (Jennifer) of Valencia, CA; four grandchildren, Ashley Gilleo, Caitlyn (Richard) Hauck, Tyler Hall (Cassidy), Jared Lindenmuth; one great-grandchild, Wade Hauck; brother, Richard (Vivian) Lindenmuth of Medford, NJ; sister, Cathy (Edward) of Oxford, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by parents, Rev. Ellsworth and Jean (Crompton) Lindenmuth and his sister Jean Colmary.

Services will be private and held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Trinity United Methodist Church (4285 Wesley Ln. North Port, FL 34287) and this will go towards the Roof Repair Fund. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is in charge of arrangements.
