Obituary of Dr. Stanley Anderson Aagaard II

Dr. Stanley Anderson Aagaard II age 90, of Venice, FL passed away on April 3, 2023. Stanley was born on May 8, 1932, in Easton, PA. Stanley had a passion for education, earning 5 master’s degrees as well as a Ph.D., and later became an emeritus professor of chemistry at Trenton State College in Ewing, NJ. After retirement in 2008 Stanley and his wife Carol relocated to Venice, FL where Stanley was active in the Scandinavian Club of Venice, and known as an active fisherman. Stanley will be remembered as a Godly man who was loved and favored by many.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Carol N. Aagaard; daughters Jan (Rich) Joseph, Sue Whitesell, and Kristine Pluscec; son Craig (Noel) Aagaard; step-daughter Dawn (Kelly) Love; grandchildren Shellie, Sean, JD, Rachel, Roderick, Rory, Eric, Ashley, Josh, David, Courtney, Haley, Ben, Noah, and Kiehl; great-grandchildren Koah, Carsen, Lena, and Tate.

A visitation will be held Monday, April 10, 2023, at 12 pm with service to follow at Farley Funeral Home in Venice, FL. Interment will be held at a later date in Durham, PA.
